dam that motor is sitting almost on top of the wheels. you should have a lot less wheel spin with the weight of the motor so close to the rear of the rail, shit you may need a wheelie bar. lol and because the drive shaft is so short you should never have to worry about snapping or twisting it, thats good cause i have that problem all the time. maybe if bob has time left after your rail he can remount my motor

I was tryn to find a pic of your rail from the side to see how much further back it is, but couldnt.
Post a pic of a side profile so we can see exactly what your talking about.

Look I probably never drove an RC that's gonna be this fast, but I know one thing...It's not rocket science.
I have had my time dominating our 5th scale drag racing in the mid 70's range, now I will use what I know, seen and heard from guys like you and take advantage of it, putting it to use on the track.

I'm not intimidated by what I have seen over the years, I just use what I have picked up against the guys I have to race, if it works, I look like a genius, if not...just a newbie with a 1/4 scale. I can't loose.

all i know is i'll have lots of fun kicking your butt wile you learn how to get the most out of that monster. Never said it was'nt fast, i just know it's gonna take some time to learn the car thats all. (all in fun)

Oh bob i know how to spell lessons. i and o next to each other BIG FINGERS SORRY along with other things. just blessed i guess lol

Wow,very nice and looking forward to making the trip to see it run...but,please, please tell me that you have some sort of braking system on that expensive rail...

fastest dragster in the world has brakes ,my car holds the highest mph @ our track for 5th scale has brakes dont see ya point...BOB>>>
