Nice, I just hope it's someone that comes to FBF to race, we need more pro stocks to make a good class.

Who bought it?

doesnt make sense to retire a car with no victories the car will just be a nice paper weight..

(Hey Gary that car is nice how fast is it hmmmm duno how does it sound hhmmmm duno
soooo what did u do with the car , welll i cleaned it painted it and put it on the wall ,nice...)

Prostock Camaro 2200 plus shipping ,painting it 300 dollars never feeling the rush of driving
and racing that car priceless ..

Thats pretty naive thinking.

The thing that makes this hobby so great is the diversity of it. There are people in this hobby for many different reasons. Some guys Race, some run parking lots, some collect, some build, some restore. Some do all of that. Everyone gets different enjoyment out of the hobby.

Its not the typical Tmaxx croud... go to the store, buy it, beat the crap out of it, throw it away when it breaks, repeat...

Look i get the restoring and that collecting is fun 4 u guys but part of collecting is also starting
and driving what u just have obtained at least just 1ce be4ore u put it up like if u have a dragster u should at least bring it out to a event and show it and let the motor kackel..

Bring it to an event and let guys see what u have .. at least..
i get not wanting to fuck up the car
like u guys hiding all these cars i think can kill a hobby the most u guys can do is act like real
car guys and show them on sundays...

once you have run one, you have basically run them all. Not only do i show my cars on sundays but every other day of the week as well! Very Happy

as far as killing the hobby? I think thats completely wrong. The hobby died due to the guys driving these things. I believe it was revived when QSL started up and brought many people together that love these machines. If anything, collecting has giving 1/4 scale a new life!

right on it's the shelf queens that has open the eyes to 1/4 scale again and if people don't have them in 10 years from now than what would the cars be like with out some people keeping the past alive . it's good to have some from the past for tomorrow besides theres new ones coming out like the past not the pan cars nether but 1/4 scales that take us back to what 1/4 scales are to be .....just keep your eyes open there coming out soon you will see ..

not sure if you will understand i get the impression you are pretty young. But...

Look around and research some history of 1/4 scale. It was Huge in the 80's to mid 90's. People were racing trucks, GN and dragsters. Over time the scale looks started to fade away. Then they tried to make cars CHEAPER for racers. Lastly, poeple were copying each others work. Making inferior products. It basically died over night. Throughout those years people purchased cars just to collect them. Actually, manufactures from back then will tell you that a majority of their sales did not even go to racers. unfortunately they got cought up in the competition...
