PostSubject: Baja 5T trial and error   Sat Jun 12, 2010 6:13 pm

Well, since this season has yet to kick off, it gives me sometime to play around and see what it will take to have the bigger Baja 5B's and T's to compete with the FG's on the track.
My personal opinion is, we need something other then converted buggies made by FG to race on that track, so here is what I will try out this weekend.

Baja 5T somewhat stripped down and lowered.
Front disc brakes only
28.5 TS with M1 ignition and crank
BRCP 2 speed
FG Slicks
VRC pipe

I will be gearing it just for the 330 foot track not for top speed, so I would expect to be around 65 to 70+ mph at 4.6+ to 4.8- .
