I got the Beretta brakes in today, and i must say the quality is outstanding. The rotor diameter is..3.131 so scale wise they should look fine. i'll most likely
polish the calipers & master cylinders.. it'll give them that mirrored look.. kinda like chrome!

Got the lights in for the Beretta now as well, The list is getting smaller N smaller.. Lol! These puppy's are sum super bright Led's.. the dimensions are 10.05mm X 14.50mm and they are ran off a Powerizer 12V 2200 mAH niMH 10 cell Batter pack.. I purchased 40 of them should i ever need to replace any in the future..I'm gunna have to design sum sort of reflector within the headlight retainer to direct the light at the correct height/level..

Finally getting back to the Beretta build. '' Once again '' I'm starting to get back to my cad work on re-designing the struts and hydraulic brake mounts. I'm working from the hydraulic brakes out that should keep it right on scale if you know what i mean. I got the rear view of the caliper mount done to date. This process should be fairly simple to do..

Thank's Dom, Still working on the cad drawings. I'm gonna machine the lower mounts off the calipers then i can bolt them up directly to the spindle/rear end housing just like the real ones are.. That will also give them a more realistic look.. I ordered the aluminum yesterday so should have that here soon.. I'll put together a machining video on that process as well and post it on my YouTube channel.. here's a shot of a strut with caliper mount much like the ones I'm going to machine!

got a bit more cad work done. Still need to draft the springs and lower control arms but the caliper mount is the main one i wanted to get drawn. I'm going to start the machining process next weekend. The mills all back together. I just need to re-calibrate all the axis in Mach, back lash compensate and what not. tighten/loosen the gibs etc..

Time to get back to work, got the Geckodrive G540 back up and running. It's now receiving and sending signals through the parallel port-E-stops configured now I just need to configure my ports & pins / motor outputs / inputs & steps per / limit / home switches.. I'm gonna clean up the mill enclosure prior to though. Them chips can reek havoc on the ways, not to mention I haven't lubed the ways / ball screws in over a year.. Let the chips fly!!
