the fg drivetrain has more gearing options

The hpi baja drivetrain is a bit more complex compared to the more simple straight forward FG setup.
There is a lot less going on with the Fg setup and as said before much easier to gear.

CHEERS FOR THE REPLY'S LADS.
YOU'VE CONFERMED WHAT I THOUGH IN THE BEGINING.
THE FG SYSTEM IS A LOT MORE STRAGHT FORWORD AND EASY TO WORK ON' AND UP RATE TO TALLER INSIDE GEAR;S. JUST NEED A TWO SPEED NOW.

you can change all 4 fg gears, plus the fact that you can get the bb gears for next to nothing off your boy, makeswmore sense to stay fg. . also your engine case is dremelled to except a 19 t layshaft.


your fg went well in the video but now its lost weight it should be abit better. i think sub 9kg is the way to go,especially if youre doing the high speed running as well as drag.(queenin it up) the pipe seems to have come on well.
