Finally got all the copper plating that was peeling off removed and started putting it back togather.. It will need some more clean and shine but I am Happy with it so far....Also picked the body that is going on it

Had to buff the paint with out tearing the stickers up and polish the clear glass back to a shine

Hi,I've seen a ad in a really early RC magazine That the WCM GN had the gold shocks. Are they Associated from a RC10.I see your chassis is missing 2 bars that are welded to the front bumper where it bends .I have them on mine but mine is a later version. I have different shocks.WCM shocks leaked bad. Also note how the front shocks were mounted on mine That's the way they came.. Also the cross tubing behind my driver is higher up than yours.I've never seen a WCM with chain only V or toothed belt with a aluminum 2 piece rear axle gear.As for the copper parts ,I've never seen that.I wonder if it was done up for a show or something.I think you have a early version. The RC mag is from 1986. I'll see if I can find it and compare the 2 chassis. The 2 cross braces above the steering servo is something I added.I just noticed there is another cross brace that run from the front of the driver compartment to the back on the right side of the engine, then a aluminum plate mounts from there to the pullstart.I don't have that.[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.], [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.].

I guess they did come with a chain drive. These pics are from a 1986 mag.Note 2nd page top pic on right .It shows how the upper and lower A arms were mounted.2nd page left pic shows that plate mounted to your pullstart.Left pic on page 3 shows a different steering setup. This was a kit. You had to debur parts and paint the chassis.[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.], [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.].
