A little winter project i started. Lots of work to go, but comming along. Rear end mounting is the major issue right know. Roger.

Thanks Bob. Kevin Hibbs made the basic chassis design for me. Then im adding and changing it to fit my components. The rear end area is the fun part now. We left the side areas open to allow the rear end to be install. Now i just need to figure out how to mount it so it can be removed again if need be. I guess this is the fun part of building from scratch. Drink beer until idea pops into brain. Try idea, scratch head, and then drink more beer. LOL.

yeh but in the long run it will make you a better fabricator,and makes for good leaning experience for future projects

After a rough layout of the engine and other components in the chassis, i decided to change some of the chassis. Heres a picture so far.

Webby, the engine is a CY 460 from Daves Discount Motors. It was stripped down and had electronic ignition installed. John Foster at Quarter Mortar did the work for me. The rear end is a modified Raco. I have it and the engine out having a steel drive shaft and a coupler made right know, but when they get back i will get you the pics. Roger.
